about grace
Born and raised a kiwi girl, from the North Island of Aotearoa - New Zealand, Grace grew up in a family who loved music, yet none of them were musicians. As soon as she could walk and talk they knew she was a performer. "I always said I'd be the next Katy Perry and when I was 14, Katy's was the first concert I went to."

Grace attended Onslow College in Wellington, and at the age of 15, she decided it was time to leave. "I had gleaned everything I needed out of school and I just wanted to launch." But in 2020 the world shutdown so Grace spent a lot of time writing and self recording in her room which she had transformed into a basic studio.

Determined to make the most of 2021, Grace enrolled at UCOL in Palmerston North and completed her NZ Certificate in Music Level 4. "It was an amazing year of learning, growing, gigging and life long friends were made."

In 2022 Grace turned 18 and put her foot in the industry door with her first Rnb/Pop singles 'Psycho Drama' and 'Human'. She then launched her Music Production company 'INDIGO 555' to support her own music production journey and with the aim of creating a safe space for all creatives. Over the next two years, Grace delved deep into her love of writing and recording music alongside her team at 'INDIGO'.

Grace's name was inspired by the Hebrew word charis, which means; grace - that which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, charisma, loveliness & favour. A description which truly encapsulates her nature. She has a caramel yet husky sound which evokes emotion for the listener.
